Responsibilities:
Prepare client correspondence, technical reports, client summaries, and presentations outlining engagement findings, facts, and highlights
Assist in the planning, organizing, and controlling of engagements to meet deadlines including the effective and efficient wrap-up of the engagement
Act with the highest levels of integrity while always observing regulatory guidelines, fulfilling your due diligence, and handling confidential information with discretion
Regular communication with the management team as well as clients.
Attend training courses to further develop accounting knowledge & maintain CPA Designation
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
Proficiency with accounting software e.g., Caseware, Tax Cycle, iFirm)
Proficiency with bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero)
Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
