The role
The Mechanical Outside Salesperson role requires promoting represented mechanical manufacturers and providing prompt, accurate support to HVAC stakeholders. A strong understanding of mechanical systems is essential for optimal product selection and design.

The role
The Mechanical Outside Salesperson role requires promoting represented mechanical manufacturers and providing prompt, accurate support to HVAC stakeholders. A strong understanding of mechanical systems is essential for optimal product selection and design.
Duties
- Cultivate relationships with HVAC stakeholders to drive sales and expand market share.
- Promote and select mechanical equipment (Air Handling, Roof Top, Heat Pumps, Chillers and VRF, etc.), prepare quotes and submittals, and negotiate sales.
- Continuously update product knowledge and industry codes through self-education and training.
- Provide timely service to contractors, track competitors, and build relationships through various interactions.
- Support market development by planning product introductions, attending industry events, and collaborating with the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years (5+ preferred) selling HVAC mechanical equipment; thorough product knowledge essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Positive, ethical, reliable team player with excellent attendance.
