Westlock Motors has an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to get their foot in the door within the automotive industry as a LUBE TECHNICIAN!

Don't have automotive experience? Don't worry! This opportunity is an entry-level role for someone who is motivated to develop new skills and who is passionate about starting a career in the industry. Many of our Lube Technicians receive an opportunity to career path as an Apprentice Service Technician and eventually receive their Journeyman Ticket.

Our ideal candidate is a strong team player, has a basic understanding of vehicles and a strong desire to learn. The successful candidate must also have a valid driver's license. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn a competitive wage based on experience.

More about the role:

• Complete vehicle inspection, including vehicle fluid levels and leaks, air and cabin filtration devices, belts and batteries and makes recommendations for additional work and maintenance
• Perform oil changes, replace oil filters, and inspect fluid levels
• Inspect suspension, steering and other moving parts and lubrication points, and lubricate as required
• Mount and balance tires and perform rotations as required
• Complete reports to record problems, observations and work performed
• Assist the Service Department as needed
