Mandatory Requirement:
  • A minimum of 10+ years hands-on experience in large project/program management with Government jurisdictions and or large private sector organizations.
  • Expertise and experience in SAP S/4HANA modules; SAP Finance, Controlling, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Project Systems, Funds Management,
  • SAP Certification FI-CO would be an asset;
    • Experience or Knowledge of any of the following modules will also be an asset;
  • Asset Retirement Obligation, Treasury and Risk Management, SAP Advanced Financial Closing and Grants Management.
  • Expertise in configuration of S/4 HANA modules including SAP Finance, Controlling, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Project Systems, Funds Management
  • Experience in delivering at least 2 end to end implementations. Implementation in a public sector environment with S/4HANA would be an asset.
  • Extensive experience with traditional and innovative project management processes, techniques, tools across agile, waterfall, iterative methods and associated tools.
  • Strong knowledge of test methodologies
  • Project excellence spanning Governance, Definition, Planning, Project Management & Control, Financials and Close-out.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager Change Request will also be an asset.
Notes for SAP FICO Consultant -This role requires a seasoned SAP Functional Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA to support the City of Toronto's financial system modernization. Key qualifications and skills include:
  1. Extensive SAP S/4HANA Functional Expertise - Minimum 10+ years in SAP, focusing on modules like Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Project Systems, and Funds Management, with configuration experience in these areas.
  2. Experience in Public Sector Implementations - Ideally has completed at least two full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, preferably within government or public sector environments, which adds valuable insight into managing public sector financial processes.
  3. Project and Program Management Skills - Extensive experience with both traditional and modern project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative), project governance, financial control, and close-out, ensuring effective project execution.
  4. Testing and SAP Solution Manager Knowledge - Proficient in test methodologies and familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for managing change requests, adding value to the project's quality assurance processes.
