- Project scope, schedule and cost management using project management methodologies.
- Project timeline and resource planning and monitoring.
- Budget planning and monitoring.
- Communication planning, coordinating and implementation.
- Issue and risk management to address areas of concern, changes in scope and budget overruns.
- Team management including internal and external resources.
- Preparation of status reports .
- Regular reporting to DOH Executive Management as required.
- Attendance of, and reporting to, Steering Committee Meetings of individual projects.
- The individual will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and complete the Department s Privacy Training prior to commencing the assignment.
- A University bachelor's level degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Yes or No.
- Relevant experience in a Senior Project Manager role Minimum of 20 years.
- Senior Project Management experience in the digital health / eHealth space in a Canadian jurisdiction Minimum of 12 years.
- IM/IT experience Minimum of 20 years.
- Demonstrated experience as Senior Project Manager of projects delivering solutioning on the SalesForce platform Minimum of 5 years.
- Demonstrated experience with technology projects in the eHealth space preference given for this experience having been obtained in the role of Senior Project Manager Minimum of 10 years.
- Strong skills and experience in communication planning, coordination and implementation including presentations to internal and external stakeholders Minimum of 10 years.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing large, complex projects that cross multiple business units and organizations (more than 4 or 5), involve multiple direct project participants (more than 15), operate for an extended period of time (more than 1 year), and involve addressing business transformation and technical issues Minimum of 10 years.
- Demonstrated experience in specific project execution activities including issue/risk management, change control, implementation, and transition Minimum of 10 years
- Demonstrated experience and capabilities in overseeing a team of specialists on information technology development projects Minimum of 5 years.
- Demonstrated experience with interprovincial initiatives Minimum of 2 years.
- Demonstrated experience in a shared services environment Minimum of 2 years.
- Recognized Project Management certification Yes or No.
