Job Description

• Our client is seeking a User Experience (UX) Specialist to support the clientNuclear IT Program by driving user-centered design initiatives.
• The Usability / User Experience Specialist will be responsible for UX strategy, journey mapping, and interface design to enhance the usability of corporate software and web applications.
• This role requires a UX professional with hands-on experience in wireframing, heuristic analysis, and customer testing to ensure intuitive, accessible, and effective digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a UX strategy and approach for the client Nuclear IT Program.
• Conduct user journey mapping to optimize user interactions.
• Create and maintain personas to guide design decisions.
• Perform heuristic evaluations to identify usability improvements.
• Conduct in-person customer testing and usability research.
• Develop low and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
• Provide industry best practice recommendations on design and user experience.
• Ensure accessibility standards are met in all UX designs.
• Collaborate with project teams to align UX design with business needs.
• Perform other UX-related tasks as assigned by the clientNuclear IT Program.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Previous experience as a UX Lead Designer/User Experience Specialist.

Preferred Qualifications:

• UX Certification (e.g., NN/g UX Certification, HFI Certified Usability Analyst (CUA), or equivalent).
• Proven track record as a UX design lead for corporate software/web applications.
• Proficiency in Figma for wireframing and prototyping.
