Responsibilities for Sponsorship Sales Executive
- Researching, generating leads, and contacting top-level decision-making executives relevant to sponsor our events
- Proactively identifying new business opportunities from a range of sources and cross-selling into relevant opportunities
- Keeping up to date with current industry trends, market activities, and the competitive landscape
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
- Collaborating with EP departments to ensure event success
Qualifications for Sponsorship Sales Executive
- Post-secondary degree
- General business acumen and understanding of Fortune 1000 companies
- B2B sales experience an asset
- Excellent telephone manner
- Comfortable and confident with making cold calls to senior-level executives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to learn, grow and succeed
- Competitive, self-motivated, determined, and driven
- Ambitious, results-oriented and entrepreneurial
Things to Discuss Further During the Interview
- This position will offer the opportunity for occasional travel to our events
- Our company offers above the normal starting vacation and observes US holidays + some Canadian holidays
- We work on a hybrid model with some days in the office and some days at home
