Avalign Ltd is hiring a Construction Site Supervisor to lead a major multi-phase multifamily residential development in Calgary. With three projects currently underway—including a six-building site entering Phase 1—this role will be central to managing construction from ground-up concrete work through to interior finishing.

We're seeking someone with strong multifamily residential experience (not single-family housing), confident in managing sub-trades and coordinating all aspects of the build. You'll bring a proactive, solution-focused leadership style and a commitment to quality and timelines.

• Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure alignment with schedule, budget, and quality expectations

• Lead weekly trade meetings and hold preconstruction planning two weeks ahead of each phase

• Coordinate with consultants and inspectors (soil, structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.)

• Manage both exterior and interior phases of the project, with emphasis on quality assurance

• Ensure clean, organized, and safe work environments through daily walk-throughs

• Forecast and monitor scheduling and progress with trade partners

• Identify and resolve on-site issues while reporting inefficiencies or deviations

• Conduct regular inspections, track deficiencies, and ensure timely resolution

• Communicate clearly and consistently with subcontractors and the project management team

• Maintain 100% completion standards before moving to the next construction phase

• 3–5+ years of supervisory experience in multifamily residential construction

• Familiar with both exterior (concrete, framing) and interior finishing phases

• Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Construction Management or equivalent preferred

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Comfortable working in high-activity environments with sub-trade coordination

• Valid driver's license required

• Ability to walk active construction sites daily

• Must be available for occasional emergencies (e.g., water line issues)

• Police clearance required

• Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 annually
