Overview
We're seeking a dedicated Junior Programmer to join our dynamic software development team in Edmonton, AB. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in building and refining software solutions that directly impact mental healthcare. Key Responsibilities
- Develop Software: Design, write, and deploy high-quality Python/Django applications integrated with Postgres.
- Frontend Integration: Build responsive and efficient front-end applications using Next.js and React.
- Containerization: Leverage Docker to create consistent, scalable deployment environments.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with product, QA, and operations teams while mentoring junior developers.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and proactively resolve issues.
- Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements, perform code reviews, and uphold robust testing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience building async multi-tenant applications using Python or Typescript.
- Familiarity with Next.js and React for frontend development is a plus.
- At least 1 year of programming experience, with a strong drive to learn and develop further.
- Basic understanding of databases and operating systems.
- Quick adaptability to new software and technologies.
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proven ability to follow instructions.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

- Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
