- Manage the procurement process from the planning stage to execution, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Interpret and apply relevant corporate policies to ensure all acquisitions comply with trade agreements, safety requirements, and laws.
- Issue purchase orders, confirm acknowledged dates, and maintain open purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery dates and quantities while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Support to Logistics.
Job Requirements:
- Effective time management skills, working well under pressure.
- International Ordering and Logistics experience would be considered an Asset.
- Computer skills with MS Office, Excel is Highly Mandatory.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment.
- A basic understanding of ERP systems would be considered an Asset.
- The role is ideal for a detail-oriented problem solver with excellent prioritization and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently when needed, to make sound business decisions, and can accurately balance risks with business needs.
- 5 Years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Automotive industry would be considered an Asset.
- Should be legally entitled to work in Canada.
