Responsibilities:
  • Perform echocardiograms, including 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, and color flow imaging.
  • Perform Trans-Thoracic Echo (TTE).
  • Perform Stress TTE and Contrast TTE.
  • Perform Global Longitudinal Strain (GLS) on GE-Vivid machines.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure patient comfort.
  • Acquire and analyze diagnostic images and measurements.
  • Identify reportable elements, complications, and other procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports of studies and store them in PACS.
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a recognized Echocardiography program.
  • CMRITO registration.
  • Proficiency in performing a wide range of echocardiographic procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Experience with Philips HD11 XE Machines and GE-Vivid S70 and GE-Vivid E9 machines.
  • Experience in a clinic setting.
