Quotations Specialist
MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our wholesale plumbing and HVAC distribution client to find a first-class Quotations Specialist professional to join their team in Ottawa. The primary responsibility of this role will be to support the sales and project teams by preparing detailed estimates and quotations based on bid and spec packages, while delivering excellent customer experiences.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:

• Prepare cost estimates by analyzing drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Create and manage project quotations and expedite purchase orders from key vendors
• Provide knowledgeable product recommendations for plumbing equipment, materials, and fixtures
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate holistic solutions for customers
• Deliver exceptional customer service by identifying mutually beneficial outcomes

You should have the following in your background to apply:

• Previous experience in estimating, quotations, or project coordination
• Strong financial literacy and a detail-oriented mindset
• Excellent multitasking and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Post-secondary education (University Degree or College Diploma)
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
• A positive, can-do attitude and alignment with core values such as fairness, trust, and respect
