What You'll Do:
- Handle incoming customer requests via phone and email.
- Quickly and accurately prepare quotes and process purchase orders.
- Monitor orders, keeping customers informed of any changes or delays.
- Collaborate with production and sales teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide accurate information on order status and handle customer inquiries.
- Ensure streamlined communication between engineering, production, customers, and sales by coordinating with all departments to drive escalation and resolution of issues with orders or processes. Document all changes in writing.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 2+ years in customer service in a manufacturing environment or equivalent experience. Knowledge of the material handling industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, strong computer software skills including working with an ERP System (LN)
- Education: Associate degree or higher in Customer Service or a related field.
- Bonus: Proficiency in a second language (French/Spanish)
