Job Title: Customer Service Representative - RIBO Licensed

Location: York Region, ON
Job Type: Temporary/Permanent
Salary: $29.00/hour

Our client in York Region, ON is actively looking for an Customer Service Representative to join their team.Position Description:Handling incoming calls and emails:

Responding promptly to customer inquiries regarding policy details, coverage options, billing questions, claims processes, and policy changes.

Providing accurate information:

Explaining insurance products and features clearly, ensuring customers understand their coverage and policy terms.

Resolving customer issues:

Investigating complaints, identifying solutions, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Processing policy changes:

Updating customer information, making policy adjustments, and issuing endorsements as needed. This is to be done on company portals.

Generating quotes:

Providing accurate insurance quotes based on customer needs and risk assessments. Including Re-marketing of policies when possible.

Cross-selling and upselling:

Identifying opportunities to offer additional insurance products or coverage upgrades to existing customers.

Claims support:

Assisting customers with the claims process, including filing claims, providing status updates, and guiding them through necessary steps.

Maintaining customer records:

Updating customer information on company systems and ensuring accurate data management. And advise customers that from time to time they may receive emails from St Andrews with insurance related content

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must be RIBO Licensed
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Customer service-oriented with a focus on client satisfaction
  • Attention to detail (accuracy is key with insurance documents)
  • Problem-solving abilities (handling claims, policy issues, etc.)
  • Time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills (CRM systems, email, MS Office, insurance software)
  • Team player with a positive attitude
