The Opportunity:

We're looking for a Director, Change Management to join our HR Center of Excellence team.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Learning and Development, the Director, Change Management, is responsible for establishing Aviso's enterprise-wide change management framework to drive the success of transformation initiatives across the organization. This role will drive initiatives to prepare, support, and equip employees to adopt and sustain changes to business processes, systems, and technologies. The Director will work closely with executive leadership, project managers, and department heads to ensure successful transitions and outcomes and to drive organizational transformation that aligns with strategic business goals.

What your day looks like:

  • Using a structured methodology, you will design, develop, and execute change strategies and tactics to support adoption and alignment with company policies and desired business outcomes
  • Lead and execute sponsorship, communications, training, alignment, resistance management, and change sustainability activities
  • Ensure guidelines, principles, standards, processes, and tools related to change skills, knowledge development, training, and adoption are continuously evolving
  • Conduct detailed change management diagnostics, including impact assessments, training needs analysis, and change risk assessments to ensure readiness and adoption of new ways of thinking and working
  • Lead the transformation program which includes oversight of organizational design, operating model, systems, and process change across the organization
  • Partner with project teams to integrate change management activities into project plans, implementation, and post-go live support to the businesses
  • Engage with executive level leaders, participate in town hall and communications initiatives, and manage stakeholders across the business units to deliver comprehensive partnership
  • Provide direct support and coaching to business leads to help their teams through transitions by leading engagement sessions and driving organizational messaging
  • Partner with the Learning and Development team to document requirements and manage the design and delivery of training programs
  • Assess change readiness, identify key barriers to successful implementation, and develop strategies to address resistance and ensure smooth transitions
  • Establish metrics and measurement systems to track the effectiveness of change initiatives and provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • Change management certification or designation such as Prosci is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in organizational change management across the enterprise of a complex, matrix organization is required
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale change initiatives in wealth management, banking, or financial services environment is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle is required
  • Subject matter expertise in change management principles, methodologies, and tools is required
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise-wide organizational issues and challenges is required
  • Proven ability to influence across an organization and move stakeholders towards a common vision or goal is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills are required
  • Strong relationship management skills with all levels within an organization are required
  • Flexible and adaptable; ability to work in ambiguous situations is required
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $135,000 - $170,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
