Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain unit and lease data, including detailed square footage inventory, within Yardi (Yardi-7S).
- Process rental adjustments and miscellaneous tenant billings as needed.
- Manage and process entries related to straight-line rent, bad debt accruals, and gross potential rent.
- Maintain and track retail percentage rent information on a monthly basis.
- Analyze new lease agreements and lease renewals; accurately input data into property management systems.
- Review rent rolls and generate monthly rental billings to tenants.
- Reconcile tenant receivables and prepare statements of account.
- Execute year-end adjustments related to operating expenses and property tax recoveries.
- Generate and issue year-end recovery invoices to tenants.
- Prepare monthly revenue variance analysis and reports.
- Support revenue collection efforts and assist with ad hoc reporting as required.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in property accounting, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Completion of a college-level accounting program or equivalent post-secondary education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Yardi or similar property management software is a strong asset.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
