Job Description: They are seeking an experienced and skilled Team Lead to oversee their fabrication team. Working alongside their shop crew, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising production, ensuring quality control, and managing day-to-day operations. This is a full-time hourly position with benefits.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the activities of ACM Fabricators and Brake Press Operators.
  • Operate machines required to produce aluminum panels and other cladding products.
  • Configure and operate Shear and Brake Press machines to manufacture sheet metal components.
  • Read and interpret drawings, assembly instructions, and work orders.
  • Perform quality control checks on all work going through the shop
  • Maintain and service equipment as needed.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping practices and cleanliness of the shop.
  • Contact customer support for machinery troubleshooting.
  • Ensure the safe use of saws, CNC tables, and other industrial equipment.
  • Ensure proper safety measures are followed, including wearing personal protective equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with sheet metal and aluminum.
  • Experience with Shear and Brake Press Machines (Schechtl Machines are an asset).
  • Industrial equipment operation experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in operating a forklift.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with e-mail and Office 365 tools.
  • Excellent time management skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and ensure production procedures are carried out efficiently.
