Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects throughout the sales cycle. Present Sodales' solutions clearly, aligning them with client objectives and delivering value at every stage of the sales process.
  • Lead the sales team by setting clear goals, providing training, and ensuring continuous performance improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Ensure development, management and progression of sales pipeline with frequent updates
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and lead generation to support sales efforts.
  • Prepare written reusable documents and assets for Sales, RFPs and client kickoffs
  • Create reusable materials for prospective customers
  • Deliver engaging presentations at industry events, conferences, and webinars, showcasing thought leadership and demonstrating the value of Sodales' solutions to a broader audience.
  • Lead the development and delivery of tailored solutions that meet specific client needs. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product demonstrations that effectively showcase the value of Sodales' offerings.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in the RFP process and sales activities. Provide ongoing training to new hires, ensuring alignment with sales goals and improving team performance.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Sodales, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings. Cultivate relationships and elevate the company's presence in the marketplace.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies. Provide clients with valuable guidance that differentiates Sodales' solutions from competitors and contributes to successful deal closure. Influence product roadmap based on market feedback by working closely with the product team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest sales methodologies, technologies, and industry trends. Continuously enhance skills and knowledge to adapt to market changes and improve personal and team performance.
  • Lead and manage the RFP process by coordinating with internal teams to create accurate, compelling proposals that address client needs and showcase Sodales' strengths, ensuring timely and effective submissions.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring proper tracking and progression of opportunities. Collaborate with the sales team to identify key opportunities and implement strategies to move leads efficiently through each stage.
  • Develop pricing plan and strategy for clients for Sodales products
  • Work closely with the sales, product development, and operations teams to ensure effective execution of proposals, product showcases, and contract negotiations, fostering collaboration throughout the sales cycle.
  • Support contract negotiations and ensure timely execution, collaborating with the sales and legal teams to close deals efficiently and in alignment with client expectations.


Marketing & Brand Development:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and market positioning.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, campaigns, and digital content to support sales efforts.
  • Lead marketing department and other internal teams to develop, execute and optimize digital marketing campaigns that align with established strategic objectives to drive pipeline growth
  • Use analytics and tracking tools to monitor and report on program and channel performance and identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (SEO, Google Ads, social media, email marketing).
  • Create and manage technical marketing content, including product descriptions, blog posts, and whitepapers.
  • Optimize marketing materials and website content for clarity, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Plan, develop and manage PPC campaigns across multiple channels while managing budget allocation for campaigns and adjusting bids to maximize return on investment
  • Stay updated with PPC and SEM trends and techniques to keep our campaigns cutting edge
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing team members to ensure campaign alignment, reporting and knowledge sharing
  • Assist the marketing, proposals and sales teams with any requirements and other duties as required.
  • Establish partnerships and alliances to increase brand reach and visibility.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team.
  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a strong focus on SaaS sales.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in SEO, Google Ads, social media management, and email marketing tools.
  • Hands-on experience with website CMS platforms (WordPress, Wix, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize digital performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for technical content.
    In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and challenges.
  • Experience working with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • French is an asset.
