Cameron MacDonald Care is looking for a Personal Support Worker to provide one-on-one care, support, assistance, and supervision.

Job Requirements

● Assisting in completing his daily activities

● Housekeeping tasks

● Grocery shopping, laundry and other housework as required

● Attending appointments

● Helping with personal care routines such as basic hygiene routines, including dressing, bathing and grooming

● Medication administration, from time to time

● Must be able to work with others in the home with mental health

● Completing documentation that is consistent with Care Human Services' policies and procedures

Skills and Experience

● High level of communication and observation skills

● Be caring and compassionate, with a passion to help others

● Kind, caring, and compassionate

● Proven critical thinking, observation and problem-solving skills.

● Physically able to perform the essential duties of the position – be able to transfer a 130 LB Man

● Must have a valid driver's license

● Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Investigation Reference for the vulnerable sector, dated within the past 12 months

● Must have a satisfactory performance record

● Food Safe Certificate
