Fire Alarm Technician * Scarborough * Registered apprentice or CFAA certified technician * Frequent daily, local travel with company vehicle * Must possess clean, valid drivers license (Abstract required) * Permanent, full-time, 7:00am-5:00pm + travel * $22 to $29/hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience You're looking for two things in your career. Our work ensures that in the unlikely event of an emergency, our client's equipment is working at maximum capacity. As our new Fire Alarm Technician, you will inspect, service and repair our industrial and commercial fire equipment, including: fire alarm systems, as well as emergency lighting and monitoring systems for clients across the GTA. Your tasks will include: * Travel to job sites throughout the GTA, inspecting commercial and industrial fire alarms, emergency lighting systems, and monitoring systems * Service, repair and test a broad range of fire alarm, emergency lighting and monitoring systems * Maintain great relationships with clients, communicating effectively and honestly * Complete jobs efficiently and on time, with the highest degree of safety and quality Working with Steadfast Safety Services We offer a highly competitive starting hourly wage, as well as extensive benefits, company vehicle and gas card, cell phone and technology, and provide full training opportunities. Qualifications * Experience working as a fire alarm technician * CFAA certified technician * Graduate of the recent CFAA upgrade course * Computer literate with experience on Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook * Ability to provide your own set of hand tools * Valid driver's license and clean driving record * Experience with sprinkler systems (an asset) * Monitoring experience (an asset) How to Apply Our online application gives you the chance to apply as more than just a resume.
