Responsibilities:
- Design, fabricate, and install ductwork
- Anchor and hook-up HVAC machinery such as air handling units, fans, ventilation equipment, etc.
- Read and interpret plans/drawings
- Follow safety protocol and comply with safety and occupational standards
- Understand the importance of customer service
- Communicate with administrative staff
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Sheet metal certificate an asset
- Minimum Apprenticeship in Sheet Metal enrollment
- 2+ years of experience in the sheet metal industry
- Valid driver's license
- Safety certifications are an asset (First Aid, Fall Arrest, WHMIS, etc.)
- Able to work with a team or independently
