This pivotal role will provide critical financial analysis and support across operational reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities within their diverse real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of real estate finance and a proven track record of delivering insightful financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive operational reports with key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and present clear and concise operational performance reports to senior management.
- Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast.
- Develop and maintain financial models for strategic planning and investment analysis.
- Perform financial modeling for cash flow projections and ROI analysis.
- Provide financial support for capital expenditure (CapEx) planning and analysis.
- Support financial due diligence for potential M&A transactions.
- Develop and analyze financial projections for acquisition targets.
- Assist in preparing financial presentations and reports for M&A activities.
- Assist in post-acquisition financial integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic financial insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field.
- CPA designation
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in real estate financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of real estate financial concepts.
- Demonstrated expertise in FP&A, operational reporting, and M&A support.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial reporting systems and ERP software.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
