We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Level 2 to join our team in Fredericton. This 12-month engagement is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled individual to contribute to significant IM/IT projects using Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will bring extensive business analysis experience and a deep understanding of systems development life cycles.

Candidates must meet all the following qualifications:

• Excellent written and spoken competence in English.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

• A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in Information Management / Information Technology (IM/IT).

• At least 5 years of business analysis experience in projects using the Agile methodology.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in the last 7 years as a Senior Business Systems Analyst, including involvement in requirements analysis, design activities, testing, and training.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate expertise in the following areas:

• 1+ year experience in the last 5 years in social services or case and care management business analysis.

• 5+ years in the last 7 years coordinating, facilitating, and conducting requirements gathering sessions.

• 5+ years in the last 7 years eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional business requirements.

• 5+ years in the last 7 years analyzing functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows.

• 5+ years in the last 7 years defining and documenting technical requirements for internal and external applications.

• 5+ years in the last 7 years creating test cases, documenting traceability, defining test data needs, and executing test cases.

• Current certification from a recognized professional business analysis association (e.g., IIBA, SAFe Agile).

• 5+ years in the last 7 years working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, DevOps, and familiarity with Agile methodology.

• Effective communication skills in French, both verbal and written (or verbal only), demonstrated with examples from previous work.
