SMALL BATCH GELATO MAKER! In Person, Calgary AB, PT to FT (Flexibility Required) Not your average kitchen gig! This is small batch, hand-crafted, fan-favourite frozen magic. We're looking for a gelato-loving human to join our HQ team in Calgary, AB. You'll work independently but never alone—making delicious frozen desserts for our retail café and events. Precision and passion matters. If you have experience with ice cream or gelato, love a spotless station, and are looking for an in-person, part-time to full-time (24-40 hours/week) role with flexible shifts (may include early mornings, evenings, and weekend) we'd love to meet you! YOUR MISSION * Follow all hygiene, GMP, and food safety procedures (we don't cut corners, ever). * Prepare and produce small batches of gelato based on daily production schedules and recipes. * Weigh ingredients, monitor consistency, and nail our quality every time. * Operate, clean, and maintain gelato-making equipment. * Maintain a tidy and organized workspace. * Host Gelato Academies, lead Tours & Tastings, and show off the magic behind the scenes. * Keep inventory in check and communicate what's needed before it runs out. * Live and breathe our 8 Core Virtues. * Contribute to our social and environmental impact efforts. WHAT YOU BRING TO RIGHTEOUS * Experience making ice cream, gelato, or other frozen desserts. * Proven knowledge with ingredient functionality and flavour creation (bonus if you've played with fun and unique pairings). * Great communication and customer service skills. * Basic math skills for measuring and ingredient ratios. * Food safety knowledge and a passion for doing things the right way. * Physically able to work on your feet and intermittently lift heavy ingredients. There is time in-and-out of the freezer, but it's not where you hang out! * An organized, proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail. * Great vibes and a love for people - we're enriching lives one tiny spoonful at a time, we just happen to do it by making gelato.
