About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Steel Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and possess a strong background in sales and importing. This role involves managing relationships with domestic and international clients, coordinating imports, and driving sales in the carbon steel sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the carbon steel market.
- Identify and build relationships with new and existing clients in Mexico and international markets.
- Coordinate importing processes, including supplier negotiations, logistics, and compliance with customs regulations.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of carbon steel products, applications, and industry developments.
- Qualifications and Skills:
Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
Experience:
- 5+ years of sales experience in the steel or industrial sector.
- Proven track record of handling importing and logistics processes.
- Strong knowledge of carbon steel products, their applications, and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
