We are looking for Senior Behavioural Interventionists to work with our organization in Tri-cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody).
About the Role:
As a Senior Behavioural Interventionist at FCPG, you will work directly with neurodivergent children under the direct mentorship and supervision of a Senior Behavioural Consultant. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assist Senior Behavioural Consultant with the design and implementation of individualized ABA-based intervention programs for neurodivergent children
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of ABA-based intervention programs.
  • Provide training to Behavioural Interventionists, caregivers, and/or other related parties.
  • Provide ongoing training, monitoring, and evaluation of Behavioural Interventionists.
  • Assist Senior Behavioural Consultant with conducting assessment activities related to the need for behavioral interventions.
  • Design and present training workshops / assist with training.
  • Research the literature related to ABA-based interventions.
  • Supervise team meetings in the family home, as well as participate in clinical meetings with relevant professionals.
  • Participate in monthly clinical team meetings with the Clinical Director and other colleagues working with the Family Centred Practices Group.
  • Design data collection protocols and interpret data to make data-based decisions relative to each child's program.
  • Collaborate with Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Preschool Staff, and other professionals with regards to individual child's program.
  • Perform functional assessments and design Positive Behaviour Support plans for families, schools and/or community programs under the direction of a Senior Behavioural Consultant.
  • Provide implementation support for behaviour support plans.
  • Prepare supports and materials.
  • Provide collaborative support in transitioning children from home-based to school-based programs.
  • Meet with Senior Behavioural Consultant to review client cases.

  • Collect and prepare notes for clinical review meetings and/or BACB supervision meetings.
  • Meet clinical competencies.
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards as outlined by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements
  • Fluency in English – Written and Verbal Communication (knowledge of other language(s) is an asset)
  • Must have a strong interest in pursuing BCBA/BCaBA certification in the future
  • Must possess a relevant undergraduate degree and/or be pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals as a Behavioural Interventionist.
  • Candidates are required to be self-motivated, extremely reliable, enthusiastic, and possess excellent communication skills
  • A valid driver's license and access to a car is an asset (commuting to different client homes required).


Position: Senior Behavioural Interventionist
Location: Tri-cities, BC
Job Type: Part-Time/Full-time
Pay: $23.00– $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and education
Schedule: Flexible working hours
