The Role

We're looking for an Assistant Manager to support both the sales and operations side of our growing business. You will help drive revenue, lead process improvements and ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

You will be based in our operations department and will play a key part in delivering a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Work closely with the management team to actively drive sales, boost profitability, and deliver a consistently outstanding customer experience.

· Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of customer orders daily—both domestic and international—by coordinating with relevant teams and managing logistics.

· Take ownership of process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing actionable solutions across the department.

· Proactively assess product-related issues, investigate root causes, and follow through with the workshop team to ensure swift resolutions.

· Lead and participate in scheduled stock takes, ensuring precision in inventory tracking and reporting.

· Collaborate with the customer service team to verify and cross-check customer orders before dispatch, ensuring error-free fulfilment.

· Take prompt action on customer concerns by directly contacting clients, resolving issues efficiently and ensuring a positive post-resolution experience.

The Person

· Strong knowledge of jewellery, with diamonds is advantageous.

· Shipping experience for domestic and international parcels.

· Customer service or workshop related experience.

· Customer service experience & handling customer queries over the phone and via email.

· Working knowledge of basic computer software packages (excel, word, outlook) and Gmail.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines without dropping the high standards we maintain.

· A “can do attitude” at all times.

· Highly organised, ambitious and able to work to company guidelines.

· Professional, polite, friendly and tactful approach.
