We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Azure Presales Specialist to join our team. This role requires a deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure at levels 200-300, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to connect with customers, understand their needs, and identify the right Azure solutions. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in either a technical sales position or an Azure sales role and hold relevant Microsoft Azure certifications. A proactive approach and a strong desire to help grow our Azure business are essential.
What you'll do:- Customer Engagement: Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their business requirements and technical needs. Relate to customers by actively listening and providing tailored Azure solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a profound knowledge of Azure services and solutions, providing technical guidance and support during the presales process. Address customer queries and concerns with comprehensive and clear technical explanations.
- Solution Development: Design and propose Azure-based solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives. Create solution architectures, presentations, and demonstrations to effectively communicate the value proposition of Azure services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, solution architects, and other stakeholders to develop strategies for winning new business and expanding existing accounts. Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless implementation of proposed solutions.
- Sales Support: Provide technical support to the sales team during the sales cycle, including product demonstrations, proof-of-concept development, and workshop delivery. Assist the Solution architect team in preparing statements of work and cost estimates.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on the latest Azure developments, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Share insights with internal teams to refine our go-to-market strategy and enhance our service offerings.
- Training and Enablement: Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams to deepen their understanding of Azure capabilities and best practices. Assist in developing sales enablement materials and resources.
- Proactive Engagement: Identify opportunities for business growth and work proactively to expand our Azure footprint in the market. Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations.
- Experience: Over 8 years of experience in technical sales or Azure sales roles, with a proven track record of success in selling cloud solutions.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure at levels 200-300, including core services, advanced solutions, and integration capabilities. Experience in designing and implementing Azure solutions is a must.
- Certifications: Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Azure Developer, are highly preferred.
- Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen with the ability to identify customer needs, present compelling solutions, and close deals. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Experience in creating and delivering impactful presentations.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions. Ability to handle customer objections and challenges effectively.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and build strong internal and external relationships. Experience in coordinating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive Attitude: A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a strong desire to contribute to the growth of our Azure business. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Pay range: $113,000 - $157,800, depending on experience and skill set
