JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duration: TEMP Position
Working hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review of plans, details and specifications for upcoming projects from plans and specifications focused on roofing and waterproofing details
- Communicate with the design authority and end user i.e., contractor, as to specifics of the expansion joints configuration
- Prepare expansion joint layouts on AutoCAD for quoting purposes based on reviewed expansion joints layouts by design authority or customer
- Create custom expansion joint details for non-standard conditions, on a project-to-project basis
- Work alongside other drafting technicians to coordinate workload and collaborate on more demanding projects as needed
- Maintain organized and timely deliverables for sales and production departments
- Communicate deadlines and timelines clearly and consistently with sales and quotations departments
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be proficient in 2D AutoCAD, 3 years + experience
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Fluency in English a must
- Excellent Communication skills required, be able to discuss details at a technical level with customers and design authority
- Able to read architectural drawings/blueprints.
- Reliable and keen eye to detail
