Acro Blue Staffing is currently seeking Material Handlers to join our team at a leading distribution center in East York, ON.

Position: Material Handler

Schedule:

Must be available to work weekends and evening shifts, with flexibility to support other shifts as needed (24/7 availability).

Job Description:

Operate forklifts to deliver products to production lines and assist with shipping/receiving operations. Candidates must hold a valid Ontario forklift license (including certification details and expiry date). Successful applicants will also be required to complete an internal certification.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Minimum 1 year of PIV experience (BT, Counterbalance)

• Valid PIV license (Ontario certification required)

• Flexible availability, including weekend evenings

• Strong commitment to FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory principles

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

• Positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn

• Proven ability to work well under pressure

• Complete powered industrial vehicle (PIV) inspections at the start of each shift

• Maintain clean and organized processing and packaging areas

• Adhere to all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

• Report any unsafe conditions immediately

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management
