Our clients include industry leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HR & Recruitment function.Position: Buyer.Location: Mississauga, ON.Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year (depending on experience & qualifications).Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial / Supply Chain / Purchasing.Employment Term: Fulltime / Permanent. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and purchase of goods, materials, and services to ensure that ongoing production needs are met.
• Monitor raw material/supply chain constraints and disruption and develop procedures and processes to improve efficiency.
• Prepare and present briefings, updates, and reports when required.
• Mentor and coach the Junior Purchasers to enhance their career and professional development.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• 5+ years related purchasing experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with an ERP, MRP ,experience with JDE preferred.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
