Description

Your role at GEI.Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Perform Survey and Construction Inspection duties in accordance with the industry regulations
  • Data preparation, measurements and calculations
  • Operate and set up survey equipment including levels, Total Stations, data collectors, GPS etc.
  • Inspect and maintain survey equipment
  • Inspection and documentation of contractor's work for conformance with the approved construction documents.
  • Prepare clear and accurate field notes
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Civil Engineering Technology graduate. Eligible for or obtained OACETT designation an asset;
  • Working knowledge of laser / optical levels, total stations and GPS survey equipment.
  • Possess strong organizational, oral, written communication, and problem solving skills; have an approachable enthusiastic interpersonal style;
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, to meet contractor hours and project deadlines.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
