Your role at GEI.Essential Responsibilities & Duties:- Perform Survey and Construction Inspection duties in accordance with the industry regulations
- Data preparation, measurements and calculations
- Operate and set up survey equipment including levels, Total Stations, data collectors, GPS etc.
- Inspect and maintain survey equipment
- Inspection and documentation of contractor's work for conformance with the approved construction documents.
- Prepare clear and accurate field notes
- Other duties as assigned.
- Civil Engineering Technology graduate. Eligible for or obtained OACETT designation an asset;
- Working knowledge of laser / optical levels, total stations and GPS survey equipment.
- Possess strong organizational, oral, written communication, and problem solving skills; have an approachable enthusiastic interpersonal style;
- Must be able to work flexible hours, to meet contractor hours and project deadlines.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
