Maintenance SupervisorDo you have a passion for keeping operations running smoothly and leading high-performing teams? We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment where you'll play a vital role in overseeing the plant's equipment, systems, and people. This is a key leadership role for someone with strong technical expertise, a team-first mindset, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.What You'll Be Responsible For:
  • Oversee all maintenance operations across the plant, grounds, and equipment.
  • Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities, prioritizing safety and minimizing downtime.
  • Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance work across shifts.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct safety talks and ensure compliance with GMP, WSIB, SQF, and company protocols.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team; support performance management.
  • Review production and maintenance reports to identify and solve recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to implement equipment improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and inventory.
  • Assist in equipment installations and support new product launches.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within maintenance areas.
  • Act as a backup to the Maintenance Manager when needed.
What We're Looking For:
  • Diploma in Engineering and/or licensed in an electrical trade.
  • 7+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (food industry preferred).
  • 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with hands-on troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with PLC programming and automation systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and product quality.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement practices is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Flexibility to manage a multi-shift operation and address issues after hours when needed.
