As part of our Proline Equipment Rental Team, your job is the delivery of rented equipment and bins to customers and contractors at various job site in the area. We are known for our excellent customer service, on time delivery and removal of equipment. A new exciting opportunity awaits the right candidate in the Parry Sound region. A/ DZ License is required.

We offer year round employment, Monday to Friday, no weekends.

DRIVER

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for your truck; perform vehicle inspections daily (circle checks), as well as checking gas, oil and other fluid levels
• Load and unload equipment; secure loaded equipment per company procedure and inspect in transit if necessary Deliver and pick up equipment
• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records
• Double check delivered items to make sure customers receive exactly what they ordered Secure customer signature on contract, if not already signed
• Inform Rental Coordinator of difficulties with deliveries or pickups
• Inform Manager of new sales opportunities and job sites
• Notify Rental Coordinator if behind schedule; so customers may be contacted
• Instruct customers on equipment operation
• If equipment is missing or broken upon pick up fill out the appropriate forms and get customer's signature. Turn in these forms to Manager, along with pick up sheets. Tag and move broken equipment to repair area.
• Notify mechanics of any issues on rental return Help in the back shop
• Report to Rental Coordinator

Qualifications:

• Valid DZ driver's license and driver's abstract in good standing
• Familiar with local roads and the Muskoka Area
• Equipment knowledge
• Experience moving heavy oversize loads is an asset
• Very customer oriented
• Professionalism and courteous
• Willing to work overtime when required
