Forbes Bros Ltd. is looking for a full-time, permanent Quality Coordinator to join our team supporting our project in Northern Saskatchewan.
Working under the general supervision of the Quality Control Manager and Project Manager, the Quality Control Coordinator will work in conjunction with multiple departments to coordinate the activities required to meet the quality standards of Forbes Bros. Ltd. and the client; ensuring products meet both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development, implementation, execution, and monitoring of QC programs, including inspections, audits, non-conformances, documentation, and other activities.
- Reporting on all project quality activities, processes, and procedures.
- Inspect materials and workmanship of crews for compliance with standards.
- Report defects to the appropriate manager and track their status from identification to correction.
- Support continuous improvement by integrating quality control tools into processes.
- Promote and advocate for a positive quality culture and performance improvement across the organization.
- Coordinate field inspections with Client inspectors and other interested personnel.
- Work with field personnel to ensure ongoing compliance with project standards and requirements.
- Create and maintain up to date Quality control documentation for the duration of specified project.
- Completing and compiling project turnover documentation.
- Incorporate lessons learned from previous projects
What We Are Looking For:
- Post-Secondary diploma or degree in a related field, or 2 years relevant quality management or industry experience with a preference for power lines, substations, or linear infrastructure.
- Proficiency in digital applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.), Adobe Acrobat, GIS, etc.
- Highly motivated and self-directed; capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Drive for quality and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to learn and undertake new challenges.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Strong written, oral communication skills and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Able and willing to travel to various project sites
- In compliance with Client and Project requirements, pre-screening and an acceptable five (5) year drivers abstract may be required
