Role Title: Metadata Lead

Responsibilities:

• Expert knowledge of metadata management and other data governance principles.
• Lead the operationalization of metadata management.
• Point of contact for all metadata management and related work efforts.
• Expert in classifying, cataloging, and indexing data for easy retrieval and optimal usefulness.
• Advanced hands-on experience in applying metadata management techniques.
• Expertise in leading the development of data models and taxonomies.
• Lead in building business glossary and technical data lineage.
• Lead in monitoring and testing functionalities and environments through metadata audits.
• Lead a team of metadata experts in metadata operations and critical deliverables.
• Ability to communicate technical details to a business user.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in leveraging Collibra, Purview, and Informatica capabilities in an administrative and leadership capacity.
• Must be Protected B Clearance ready, obtained from the RCMP.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information, Data Science, Data Management, Computer Science, or Engineering. A Master's degree is a plus but not required.
• Experience in data architecture or solutions architecture, or Collibra Ranger designation is a plus but not required.
