We are seeking a Contracts Administrator for our Power Electronics Division in Georgetown, Ontario.

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts including government RFPs, solicitations, proposal submissions and final awards, and purchasing agreements, vendor agreements, service & warranty agreements, NDAs, purchase orders terms, and amendments.
  • Draft, review & coordinate in-house and customer facing documents/correspondence including MOUs, LOI and business letters, to support internal business owners and ongoing programs.
  • Advise management and key internal business owners and stakeholders (engineering, procurement, sales, and business development teams) of contractual rights, obligations, and legal issues and provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
  • Identify risk exposure and solutions to mitigate, or where possible eliminate, such risks.
  • Co-ordinate and gather data for audits as required.
  • Administer contracts in accordance wit the contract management plan and approved procedures
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with regulations

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

  • Post secondary education in business, administration or High School graduate with minimum 3-5 years relevant work in contracts, supply chain, finance.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of legal, compliance and/or third-party risk management.
  • Strong analytical and contract administration skills, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external business partners.
  • High degree of dedication, motivation, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Business level fluency in English.
  • Familiarity with government contracting principles and regulations an asset (FAR/DFARs)
  • Familiarity with Canadian and US export control laws and regulation and the Controlled Goods Program an asset
  • Must be able to meet CGP requirements.
