ABOUT THE ROLE
The Global Talent Advisor will play a key role in supporting the Global Talent team. The position entails working closely with the International Programs Team, Country Program Offices (CPOs), Resource Development Team and Recruitment Marketing Team to effectively recruit, select, assess, train, send, manage, and reintegrate Cuso International volunteers.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our Global Talent team. The Ideal candidate is enthusiastic, organized, and eager to learn in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, with a passion for empowering team members and a commitment to excellent service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the review and development of Placement Descriptions and other related documents to ensure marketability and alignment with volunteer skill sets offered by Cuso International.
- Manage the Volunteer recruitment selection and placement process (including assessment, references, training, medical clearance, police checks, visa and work permits etc.) in collaboration with other members of the PQI team.
- Manage volunteer-related data in the volunteer database.
- Responsible for volunteer management activities such as conducting regular check-in (or specific IE: Continuing Assessment) meetings with volunteers and escalating issues where necessary.
- Coordinate with CPOs and Recruitment/Marketing to maintain alignment between volunteer supply and demand within the country/project placement portfolio.
- Provide general administrative support to the Global Talent team.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Eligible for the Canada Summer Jobs program (youth candidate).
- Basic experience in volunteer/consultant management or customers service.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), databases and web research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passionate about supporting and empowering team members.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
