West Fraser offers a range of exciting career opportunities for individuals seeking challenging and rewarding careers. Our Edson division in Edson, Alberta, is recruiting for a 4th Class Power Engineer.

We are currently seeking an experienced, dedicated and proactive key player to join our Engineering team here at Edson Forest Products.

You'll do:

  • Maintaining a safe work environment
  • Ensuring consistent operation of the Thermal Plant
  • Facilitating the reliable supply of services to the sawmill
  • Assisting the Kiln Operators when appropriate
  • Effective fuel management

You Have:

  • A 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate
  • Proven skills and experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Desire to progress, learn, grow and succeed
  • Physical ability to work 12-hour shifts

Compensation Package:

  • The hourly pay range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.
  • Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays.
