OVERVIEW:

Working with Jack Smith Fuels in Tilbury, Ontario, the Lubricant and DEF Delivery Driver holds responsibility for ensuring safe and timely loading and delivery of Lubricants and Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to commercial, agricultural, and residential customers. This is a full-time permanent position.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Ensure the safe and timely loading, unloading, and delivery of fuel, lubricants, and DEF to the warehouse and customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and efficient deliveries, clean and functioning equipment, and a positive customer service attitude.
  • Work collaboratively with dispatching colleagues, receiving, and responding to communications and requests on time.
  • Ensure accurate recording of fuel, DEF, and lubricant receipts, deliveries, inventory, and invoicing.
  • Obey all legal and company regulations affecting the operation of motor vehicles.
  • Set up bulk equipment safely at a customer's location when required.
  • Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of the truck and cab.
  • Assist with delivering lubricants and other products and equipment, when required.
  • Other duties may reasonably be required from time to time.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • High school diploma required.
  • A valid AZ license is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of commercial AZ driving experience is required.
  • Experience driving liquid bulk is desirable.
  • Must possess a clean ‘abstract' and acceptable CVOR.
  • Mechanical inclination is desirable.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds; position requires frequent bending and moving heavy loads.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in delivering multiple products, equipment, etc.
  • Local geographical knowledge is required.
  • Must present a professional image at all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrates a safety-first approach to the role.
  • Positive and humble attitude.
  • Ability to work autonomously and responsibly.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.
  • Must always conform to the requirements of the Ministry of Transportation regulations.
