About The Role
At EventConnect, our clients are the focus of our teams every day. As the Manager, Strategic Partnerships, you are a motivated manager with a track record of identifying and developing new, long-lasting business relationships. This role will directly impact EventConnect's overall performance, presenting a highly unique sales model with a limitless scale.
Responsibilities
- Initiate sales development, event solutions representatives into sales-ready candidates for further growth within the organization
- Motivate team members through creative problem-solving related to product improvements and service offerings
- Monitor dashboards to make sure data is accurate and that members are on pace to achieve goals and take action when and where needed
- Develop team processes and best practices related to product and service developments
- Motivate, incentivize, and recognize team members to encourage top performance
- Define performance-driven metrics and expectations for pipeline creation
- Regularly report on team/individual results
- Work closely with the marketing team and provide feedback on lead quality, etc.
- Manage sales engagement software and CRM via Hubspot and owned data
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products
- Experience in developing strategic Market plans
- Experience in training, managing, and growing sales managers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions
- Understanding of how to position products and services against competitors
- Experience working regionally and nationally
- Worked in SaaS platform, tech-enabled business, sports, and hospitality service areas
- Travel required to industry trade shows and possibly client engagement

Qualifications:
- 3+ years leading sales teams selling B2B at a SaaS + Service and/or enterprise software company
- A passion for sales: 2+ years of sales experience as an individual contributor
