Servus is growing! We are currently looking for a Organizational Design Consultant for our People and Culture Team.

Reporting directly to the Leader of Culture and Employee Experience, the Organizational Design Consultant plays a critical role in evaluating and enhancing our organizational frameworks to drive efficiency, collaboration, and alignment with strategic goals. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive workforce strategies that address talent acquisition, skills gaps, and succession planning to meet future business needs. Your expertise will guide change initiatives related to organizational redesign, ensuring smooth transitions that align with our business objectives and culture.

More specifically, the scope of responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assess existing organizational frameworks and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency, collaboration, organizational capabilities, and alignment with the credit union's strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement workforce strategies, including talent acquisition, skills gap analysis, and succession planning to meet future business needs.
  • Lead and support change initiatives related to organizational redesign, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with business objectives.
  • Create, curate, and educate leaders on organizational design principles on an ongoing basis to reinforce the key organizational outcomes as it relates to the organizational structure
  • Balance the needs of the business by enabling best practices, connection to organizational strategy, and ensuring consistency with key organizational design principles
  • Partner with senior leaders, Strategy, Productivity & Optimization, Financial Performance, Talent Intelligence and other People & Culture professionals to align workforce strategies with broader business objectives and culture initiatives.
  • In collaboration with other People & Culture leaders and our partners, develop and plan programs and strategies to translate business plan & strategy into short-medium-long term talent needs
  • Creation and management of long-term workforce models and tools (e.g. excel based, Power BI, etc.) based on internal demographic data and available external market data
  • Identify a skills taxonomy to implement, maintain, and reinforce through organizational design, workforce planning, talent intelligence, and other key People & Culture programs (e.g. learning and development, talent acquisition, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain reporting abilities to monitor and refine the effectiveness of the organizational design including, but not limited to: cost efficiency, average span of control, key outcomes
  • Research, establish, and reinforce current best practices as it relates to organizational design in top credit unions, financial institutions, and other organizations
  • Conduct gap analysis and forecast long-term future workforce needs using internal and external trend analysis in order to align with business growth and strategy

Requirements

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role in organizational design and workforce planning.
  • Experience in organizational design and workforce planning in a complex organization with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience in a financial services organization considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other relevant software tools.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Social Sciences, or a related field is required (experience in lieu of education will be considered).
  • Certification in HR-related fields (e.g., SHRM, CPHR) is preferred.
