Position Title: Network Administrator

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Administrator provides network, computer, storage, telephony, and end-user support using superior customer service in a corporate IT environment. Supports IT Infrastructure, local and wide area networks across the organization's multiple facilities either remotely, via onsite personnel, outsourced IT, or site visits. Supports end-users of all skill levels via phone, email, remote access, or in person. Provides solutions in a timely manner, documenting all issues and resolutions.
- Provide investigation and diagnosis of escalated unresolved issues as appropriate
- Actively monitor and respond quickly to incoming IT Service Requests
- Log incidents and service requests and maintain relevant records:
o Identify and classify incident types and service interruptions
o Record incidents cataloging them by symptom and resolution
- Deploy & maintain PC's and associated peripherals, Smartphones, Printers, Video Conferencing Equipment, etc.
- Install, configure, and upgrade PC software
- Perform Daily IT Infrastructure Health Checks and report findings
- Assist with onboarding & offboarding of users
- Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users
- Contribute to the creation and updates of support documentation, SOP's, etc.
- Perform regular Endpoint and Infrastructure Patching
- Support the configuration, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of LAN/WAN network connectivity, firewalls, security systems, storage and server hardware and software in a multi-site corporate network environment
- Experience installing, maintaining, and optimizing wireless networks
- Experience configuring and maintaining VMware environments
- Experience configuring and maintaining Citrix environments
- Investigate, diagnose, and remediate Cyber Security Incidents
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Successful completion of a two (2) year post-secondary program and/or related equitable experience with a focus on Information Technology
- 10 years' minimum experience in corporate IT or managed IT services environment
- 8 years' minimum experience in hands-on network administration role supporting multi-site LAN/WAN environments
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Configure device operating systems, including Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome OS, Android and iOS and administer client-based as well as cloud-based (SaaS) software
- Troubleshoot and problem solve core service and support challenges while applying best practices for documentation, change management, and scripting
- Support IT infrastructure and networking environment
- Configure and support PC, mobile and other hardware
- Implement data backup and recovery methods and apply data storage and management best practices
- Cyber Security skills, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, Security Incident triage
- Holding relevant Industry Certifications such as, A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA/CCNP, MSCE/MCSA, CCCA/CCEE, VCP/VCAP, Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) is desirable
- Experience with one or more CSP's such as AWS, Microsoft Azure & GCP is desirable

ADDITIONAL NOTES
This is a full-time role based 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 MT excluding holidays along with support outside of these hours for critical operations and support situations as they arise.
