Shipping & Receiving Team Lead – Manufacturing & Logistics

We're partnered with a well-established manufacturer that's looking for a reliable and experienced Shipping & Receiving Team Lead to support day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a solid shipping/receiving background who's comfortable helping guide a small team on the floor.

• Support daily shipping, receiving, and packaging activities to ensure safe, timely, and accurate shipments.

• Coordinate with logistics to organize deliveries, shipments, and offsite warehouse transfers.

• Operate forklifts, dock loading platforms, and packaging systems (e.g., super sacs, 55L bagger).

• Load finished product from silos into tankers and ensure proper labelling and paperwork for all shipments.

• Monitor silo levels and work closely with production to align with customer requirements.

• Help stage product for shipment and ensure QA approval is received before loading.

• Assist with onboarding, training, and supporting team members as needed.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety and quality procedures.

• 3+ years of experience in shipping & receiving, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• 1+ years acting in a lead position, managing/organizing teams of 4-5 people

• Previous experience in a lead-hand or informal team lead capacity is a strong asset.

• Valid forklift license and WHMIS certification.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and internal systems.

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and a safety-first mindset.
