Our client is providing services in Real Estate, Corporate Law and Litigation is committed to supporting the clients through their most significant life events and to increasing access to, and awareness of, the justice system.

They are on a mission to rapidly expand our team to support their evolving client base. Their firm, located in Scarborough, is led by their three lawyers' services well over a thousand clients annually.

Job Summary
They are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawyer to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of real estate law.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Support the existing practice lead with residential real estate transactions (purchase, sale, refinance)

• Meet and manage clients

• Draft and review agreements, offers, leases, and related real estate documents

• Manage a growing portfolio of real estate clients with guidance and mentorship where needed

• Build and maintain client relationships, fostering new business opportunities

• Collaborate with colleagues within the firm's teams where required

WHO YOU ARE:

• Licensed lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience practicing real estate law (in exceptional cases, we will consider those recently called to the bar who demonstrate strong entrepreneurial capabilities)

• Solid understanding of residential real estate law.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in client communications

• Proactive and resourceful, with a high degree of initiative

• Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to grow, both professionally and in contribution to the firm

• Positive and collaborative attitude, ready to excel within a team environment

• Speaking Tamil is a must

Language:

• Tamil (required)

Licence/Certification:

· Licence to Practice law from the Law Society of Ontario (required)
