The Role
We are seeking a motivated hydrogeologist for our head office in Vancouver. You will join a team of hydrogeologists led by Dr. Christoph Wels (RGC President) and Dr. Mahmoud Hussein (Principal Groundwater Modeler) that assists mining companies worldwide in managing mine water issues, including mine dewatering, groundwater impact assessment, seepage control and mitigation.
This is a challenging position and will require a well-rounded, ambitious individual who has a strong technical background in hydrogeology, preferably with experience in the mining industry. You will be working out of our Vancouver office but work will require you to travel to our international project sites for client meetings and occasional field work.

Responsibilities:
• Author or co-author reports.
• Train, mentor, and supervise junior staff.
• Prepare proposals and manage projects.
• Plan and supervise hydrogeological field investigations.
Required Education and Experience
• A post-graduate degree in Hydrogeology or a related discipline.
• 5-15 years of relevant work experience.
• Eligibility to register with EGBC as a P.Geo or P. Eng.
• Valid B.C. driver's license.

Compensation: $120,000 to $180,000, plus potential performance incentives
