We are seeking an experienced team leader and dynamic new business developer who has an established network of professional referral sources and is ready to move up in the corporate financing industry. You have held executive positions with both institutional and non-institutional corporate funding sources. We are seeking candidates with in-depth experience in all facets of senior, subordinated and convertible debt lending as well as asset-based lending, commercial real estate funding, and project financing. You have the industry credentials to structure and co-ordinate the funding of new corporate financing opportunities.
Position Profile
You are responsible for developing new financing referrals, originating, and funding corporate debt financing requests on behalf of client companies. Once you have created an internal business plan to maximize your results, your next objective is to build a team of corporate finance specialists who can originate and negotiate funding from secondary and alternative sources of capital on behalf of our client companies.
You will provide field support to your team of Senior Advisors, Corporate Finance (Toronto Regional Office) who will submit Financing Assessments on potential financing requests to the Capital Markets Team. You have built or managed business development teams before and know which potential candidates will meet performance expectations. To enhance their success, you will provide strong business financing acumen, risk assessment expertise, and lead by example with honed time management skills.
