About the Role:
The Property Manager will be responsible for growing mixed-used portfolio of 400+ residential rental homes in Vancouver. The role requires an individual who can provide superior customer service while managing the day-to-day operations of each property.
Oversee the management of rental portfolio
Ensure the effective day-to-day operations of each property, focusing on tenant satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance
Manage the processing of new residential applications and lease renewals
Work with accounting to monitor rent collection
Develop and manage annual budgets ensuring the portfolio meets financial performance goals
Ensure properties meet all legal and safety requirements, including those set out in the Residential Tenancy Act of BC.
Manage building improvements and preventative maintenance
Oversee tenant relations, addressing tenant issues efficiently and effectively
Hire and manage building managers and external vendors
Collaborate with a dedicated in-house marketing and leasing team on newly completed rental developments
Handle occasional after-hours emergencies
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in managing residential real estate
Exposure to commercial property management is a bonus
Must have a current B.C. Property Manager License
Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Can-do attitude with exceptional customer service skills
Knowledge of Yardi is considered an asset
