The founder is transitioning to a strategic advisory role, creating an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and visionary leader to take the helm and drive our next phase of growth. We are looking for a Muslim, based in or having grown up in the West with a strong understanding of Western Muslim culture.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly strategic, hands-on, and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who deeply understands the values, aspirations, and nuances of modest fashion from the perspective of a Western Muslim woman. You will assume full ownership of the business, leveraging content, community, and commerce to unlock explosive growth potential. This is an opportunity to run a thriving brand as if it were your own, with the support of the founder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of all business areas: content, marketing, operations, product development, and growth.
- Lead and inspire our team of 8: across marketing, operations, logistics, content creation, and customer experience.
- Boost brand visibility through content: drive strategies leveraging UGC, TikTok Shop, and influencer collaborations.
- Implement a global brand strategy: while staying true to our Western Muslim customer base.
- Focus on profitable scaling: optimize for both profit and growth, not just increasing sales.
- Establish robust systems and processes: to ensure the business can operate effectively without constant founder involvement.
Must-Have Experience:
- Built or led a 7+ figure DTC ecommerce brand
- Deep and authentic understanding of modest fashion, the lifestyle of Western Muslim women, and hijab culture.
- Demonstrated success in implementing content-first growth strategies, including UGC, TikTok Shop, and influencer marketing.
- Strong track record of building thriving online communities and converting customers into loyal brand advocates through platforms like Discord, Facebook groups, live events, and effective email/SMS engagement.
- Proven ability to scale businesses profitably, build high-performing teams, and effectively delegate responsibilities.
- Comfort and confidence in making bold, autonomous decisions.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Shopify, Omnisend, Klaviyo, Meta/Google Ads, and TikTok Shop.
- Experience in launching new product lines or successfully entering new international markets (e.g., the Gulf region).
- Prior experience working with performance-based compensation structures.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to analyze and report on quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
What Success Looks Like in the First 12 Months:
- Achieving consistent monthly profit exceeding $100,000.
- Processing over 300 daily orders.
- Improving the overall website conversion rate to 4% or higher.
- Generating consistent daily brand mentions and organic reach through community-driven content.
- Establishing a clear and compelling brand voice supported by a scalable content engine.
- Leading a team that is aligned with the company vision, operating efficiently, and highly motivated under your leadership.
