Position Title: Administrative Assistant, People and Culture
Location: Toronto, ON
Term: Full-Time, Temporary 12 weeks (Canada Summer Jobs)
Reports To: Iryna Kryshtal, Manager, Employee Relations
Salary: 17.20 per hour
Start Date: May 5, 2025
I. Scope and Summary of Primary Responsibilities
As an Administrative Assistant in the People and Culture department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of HR-related activities within the organization. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the People and Culture team, aiding in the smooth execution of various HR processes and initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
II. Essential Functions
•Provide comprehensive People & Culture administrative support including, but is not limited to filing, drafting, correspondence.
•Assist with the development, distribution, and communication of HR policies and procedures, ensuring that employees have access to relevant information and resources.
•Supports administrative functions to ensure completion of work accurately and within established time frames.
•Updates files and other related documents to support the team
•Provides project/special assignment support, gathers information, conducts Internet and other research on a variety of People & Culture topics as required.
•Assist in updating and maintaining the employee self-service portal.
•Other duties as assigned.

Education and Certifications
· Be enrolled in degree or diploma studies in related field.
Experience and Qualifications
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite.
· Excellent written and oral communications skills.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
· Excellent administrative, time-management and organizational skills.
· High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling confidential information.
Eligibility
